Water left standing after the cycle. Most often a clogged drain pump filter or a kinked drain hose. We clean the filter, check the hose, and replace the drain pump if needed.
Check the water tap is open, the inlet hose isn't kinked or frozen, and the supply filter isn't clogged. We diagnose the water inlet valve and pressure switch.
Clothes come out soaked. Often an unbalanced load, a faulty door lock or lid switch, or a worn drive belt. We diagnose the specific component.
Water on the laundry room floor. Loose supply hose connections, a misaligned drain filter, or a worn door seal. We trace the source and fix it on the spot.
Banging, grinding, or squealing during spin. Worn drum bearings, unbalanced loads, or worn shock absorbers. A drum that rumbles on spin often needs bearings and a tub seal.
No power at all. We check the power outlet, circuit breaker, control board and door lock mechanism to trace the fault.
Mold and mildew in the door gasket. Front-loaders are prone to this due to their airtight seal. We clean or replace moldy gaskets and address drainage issues.
Machine moves during the spin cycle. Usually an unlevel floor, worn suspension components, or an unbalanced load. We level the machine and replace worn shocks if needed.
An unbalanced load, a broken drive belt, a faulty capacitor, or a foreign object blocking the drain outlet. We diagnose the specific component and repair it.
Error codes are brand-specific. Here are the most common codes across the brands we service — plus what they usually mean.
| Brand | Code | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung | 1E / 4E / 4C | Water supply error — water level sensor issue or no water supplied. Check the tap and inlet hose. |
| Samsung | 5E / 5C / E2 | Drain error — check the drain hose angle and ensure it isn't clogged. Clean the pump filter. |
| Samsung | UE / UB | Unbalanced — redistribute the load and restart the cycle. |
| Samsung | dE / dE1 | Door error — the door is not closed properly. Check the latch and interlock. |
| Samsung | LE / LE1 | Motor error — the motor is locked or overloaded. |
| LG | IE | Water inlet error — check the tap and inlet hose for kinks or blockage. |
| LG | OE | Drain error — clean the drain pump filter and check the drain hose. |
| LG | UE | Unbalanced — redistribute the load and restart. |
| LG | LE | Motor locked — the motor is overloaded or locked. |
| LG | dE | Door error — the door is not properly closed. |
| Whirlpool | F9 E1 | Long drain — drain times longer than expected. Check the drain pump filter and drain hose. |
| Whirlpool | F8 E1 | Long fill — low flow of water. Check that supply is on and hoses aren't kinked. |
| Whirlpool | F5 E2 | Door lock error — the door is not locking properly. |
| Whirlpool | F7 E1 | Motor speed sensing error — the motor cannot achieve the correct speed. |
| Bosch / Siemens | E:36 | Drain problem — a blockage in the drain tube, hose or pump. |
| Bosch / Siemens | E:35 | Leak detected — check hoses, door seal and dispenser. |
| Bosch / Siemens | H:32 | Unbalanced drum — the appliance stops spinning. Untangle and redistribute the load. |
| Electrolux | E11 | Water fill difficulty during washing — check inlet filter and valve. |
| Electrolux | E13 | Water leak detected — inspect hoses and door seal. |
| Electrolux | E21 | Drain difficulty — check the drain pump filter and hose. |

We complete the repair on the spot whenever possible, using Suitable parts carried on every van.
We explain the fault clearly before any work begins, and we keep the repair focused on the cause.
Year 8 is the hinge. Before it, repair almost anything. After it, replace once the quote passes half the price of a new machine.
If your machine is under 8 years old, the repair is under 50% of replacement, and the fault is a component — repair is the smarter choice.
If your machine is over 8 years old, the repair exceeds 50% of replacement, and the fault is structural — replacement is usually the wiser decision.

Samsung 5C (also shown as 5E or E2) is a drain error — the washer is not draining the water out. Common causes are a clogged drain pump filter, a kinked drain hose, or a faulty drain pump. Start by cleaning the pump filter behind the small access panel at the bottom front of the machine — this is often a free fix.
LG OE means the washer is not draining. The most common cause is a clogged drain pump filter, followed by a kinked drain hose or a faulty drain pump. Clean the pump filter first; if the code persists, the drain pump likely needs replacement.
Use the 8-year, 50% rule. Before year 8, repair almost anything — a drain pump, door lock or control board is nearly always cheaper than a new machine. After year 8, replace when the quote passes half the price of a new unit. Structural failures (drum bearings, outer tub, motor) on machines over 8 years are usually not worth repairing.
