Beko Error Codes

Every Beko Washing Machine Error Code, Decoded

Your Beko washer showing an E or SC code on the display? Here are the most common ones — and what they actually mean. Call us and we'll fix the cause, not just the code.

E01
NTC sensor fault

The washer can't read the water temperature correctly, so it stops or fails to complete a cycle.

Common causes: faulty NTC temperature sensor, damaged wiring, or a PCB (control board) fault.
E02
E03
Heater fault

Clothes come out cold despite a hot wash setting being selected.

Common causes: open-circuit heating element, or a fault with the heater relay on the main control board.
E5
Pump filter clogged

Water is left standing in the drum because the filter is blocked.

Fix: clean the pump filter of lint, coins, and small objects. If the problem persists, the drain pump may need replacing.
E8
Water inlet error

The washer waits for water but doesn't get it in the expected time.

Common causes: closed water tap, water outage, or inlet filter clogged with scale and debris.
E12
Aquastop activated

Water level has reached the Aquastop safety level, indicating a possible leak or overfill condition.

do not leave the washer running in this state.
E17
Excess foam — no spin

The program ended without spinning due to excess foam in the drum.

Fix: use less detergent — make sure you're using a HE (high-efficiency) automatic washing machine formula.
E18
Unbalanced load — no spin

Centrifugation didn't start because the laundry is unevenly distributed in the drum.

Fix: redistribute laundry evenly and restart the spin cycle. Also check the machine is sitting level on the floor.
E29
Protection mode

The machine has switched to protection mode for safety reasons.

Common causes: voltage fluctuations, uneven drain, or a detected component issue.
SC
Service Call required

Your complaint was not resolved during the self-check.

Important: call A trained technician for professional diagnosis — don't repeatedly restart the machine, as this could worsen the fault.
H1
H2
H3
H11
H codes — engineer-level diagnosis

H1 to H11 are engineer-level diagnostic codes accessed via service mode on Beko washers. They provide much more specific component-level diagnosis (motor, pump, sensors, board) and require a trained technician to interpret and repair correctly.

Important: note the H code that appears and tell us your model and the situation in which the code appeared — we'll diagnose the root cause and fix it.

Didn't find your error code? Call 054 400 6384 — tell us the code and we'll identify the cause in minutes.

Beko Technologies

We're Trained on Beko's Advanced Technologies

Beko's European-engineered washers feature exclusive technologies that demand specialist technicians — and that's exactly what we are.

ProSmart Inverter Motor

Beko's ProSmart Inverter Motor is brushless, which means it's quieter, more durable, and more energy-efficient than conventional motors. We diagnose and repair motor control modules and replace faulty inverter boards.

SteamCure with Hygiene+

Beko's SteamCure technology releases steam from the bottom of the drum before the wash cycle begins, softening dirt for easier removal. The Hygiene+ steam cycle heats water up to 60°C, reducing common household allergens by up to 99.9% (approved by Allergy UK). We service steam generators, water lines and related components.

AquaWave Drum

Beko's AquaWave system uses a curved door glass and specially designed paddles to move laundry in a wave-like action inside the drum, providing gentler yet effective treatment. The stainless steel drum features specially designed alveoli that create a protective air veil for delicate fabrics. We repair drum-related issues and replace worn paddles or bearings.

RecycledTub Technology

Beko's RecycledTub washing machines use drum housings made from recycled plastic bottles, reducing plastic pollution. We service these drums and their components with the same precision as traditional tubs.

HomeWhiz Bluetooth Connectivity

Beko's HomeWhiz app lets you control your washer remotely via Bluetooth. We diagnose and repair connectivity issues, Wi-Fi module faults, and control board problems affecting the HomeWhiz system.

AutoDose System

Beko's AutoDose system automatically dispenses the optimal amount of detergent and softener based on load size. We repair dispensing pumps, sensors, and the auto-dose control board.

Fast+ Function

Beko's Fast+ function shortens wash cycles for everyday loads. When this function malfunctions or causes incomplete cycles, we diagnose and repair the underlying control issue.
